WOLF AFCB
WOLF AFCB was my first clothing brand that I started in high school and also my introduction to building a fashion label from the ground up. What began as a high school project evolved into a platform where I explored garment design, branding, photography, product development, manufacturing, creative direction, and event production. Through WOLF, I learned how to take an idea from a concept to a finished product while building a community around the brand through pop-up events, campaigns, and collaborations. Although I have since moved on creatively, WOLF became the foundation for many of the skills I continue to develop today. now let's take a dive into some, but not all, of the events, projects, and campaigns I did with WOLF AFCB.

polo reworks

the polo rework designs came alive very suddenly. WOLF got approved to vend at this music event in LA hosted by ibreathemusic and then I needed to create some new products quickly, but keep the quality and creativity there. I put together a moodboard in my journal, and quickly went to thrift stores, bought used polos, and started playing around with different fabrics and sewing them on. I wanted an elevated DIY look for these, showing that an everyday used garment is capable of a brand new life. I learned from this project that it is very rewarding being scrappy because it challenges you to use parts and scraps that you usually would throw away and how you can also be sustainable by recycling used garments. For these reworks, I did a lot of hand sewing on leather patches and fur, reverse appliqués, and studding. We sold out of all these reworks during this event.

once a year in december, I would produce and design an unforgettable night of fashion, music, and community in huntington beach called wolf gala. hosted this event twice, one in 2024 and another in 2025. the event featured an exclusive apparel release, live DJs, branded installations, and other brands that were exclusively invited, creating an environment that reflected the identity and culture behind WOLF. I led the creative direction, merchandise presentation, event branding, production, and overall guest experience, attracting over 200 attendees the 2nd year and over 100 attendees the first year.
what is it

wolf gala

the clothes
for the second wolf gala, I had a clear direction of the theme for the apparel to be: dystopian militarism. With all of the events and division happening around the world during this time, it inspired me to create clothing around this theme of division. I created 4 pieces around this theme, each with different phrases, graphics, and appliques that aimed to create unity and less division in these divided times. All made by me in my garage. Besides those four pieces, I created just some other pieces that were just fun to make, such as the hybrid oversized pants I cut and sewed out of a wool twill and a brown canvas.
production and BTS
the hardest part about creating events like this is producing it with a low budget. from searching for venues to organizing and paying everyone involved is complicated, but having these events taught me a lot of things, especially how important it is to be organized. for the first gala, I created the stage for the DJ performance for the after party. I wanted an abandoned desert/dune theme, so we took a canvas skeleton and wrapped it in gauze and thick ropes. I quickly learned that this is a very expensive way to go about things. fast forward to the second wolf gala, we acquired a venue that already has a whole production setup for us instead of getting an empty warehouse. this allowed me to redirect time and energy towards the clothes and the clothing booth, where I got wood pallets and coated them in white, and then invited as many people as possible to come and paint on them. my goal with that was to bring people together and show that WOLF is built off of the people. people who leave their mark.
